These Terms of Service govern use of Postiz, the Source Code Original social publishing app available at https://postiz.sourcecodeoriginal.com. Postiz is used by authorized Source Code Original team members and approved operators to manage and publish social media content to Source Code Original owned or managed accounts that an authorized operator chooses to connect, including Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and other supported platforms.
Use of the service
Postiz may be used to prepare, schedule, and publish content to connected social media platforms. Authorized operators are responsible for the content they create, upload, schedule, or publish. Operators must choose, review, and approve the content and destination account or board before publishing or scheduling content.
Connected platforms
When a third-party platform, including Pinterest, YouTube, or TikTok, is connected to Postiz, use of that platform remains subject to its own terms, rules, developer policies, and community policies. Postiz is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, or any other connected platform unless expressly stated by that platform.
TikTok
TikTok reviewer section. Users may use Postiz with TikTok only for genuine, user-directed TikTok account connection, content preparation, upload, direct publishing, scheduling, status, and analytics workflows. TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own Terms of Service, Developer Terms, Developer Guidelines, Content Posting API requirements, Community Guidelines, music rules, branded-content rules, and any other TikTok policies that apply to the connected account or content.
Users must connect TikTok only through TikTok OAuth and may not provide TikTok passwords, session cookies, or non-OAuth credentials to Postiz. Users must own or have authority to manage the TikTok account they connect, and they are responsible for the content, media, music, captions, disclosures, links, timing, and settings they choose for TikTok posts.
Postiz supports TikTok Direct Post and TikTok Upload workflows. Direct Post sends user-approved content to TikTok for publishing according to the user's selected settings. Upload sends user-approved content to TikTok as a draft or inbox item so the user can review and complete publishing in TikTok. Users must understand which posting method they choose before scheduling or submitting TikTok content.
Before using TikTok Direct Post, users must review and choose the available TikTok posting settings returned for their TikTok account, including privacy level, whether comments are allowed, whether duet is allowed, whether stitch is allowed, whether the content was made with AI, whether the content is commercial, and whether the content promotes the user's own brand, another brand, or both. When branded-content or music confirmations apply, users are responsible for complying with TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and Branded Content Policy.
Users may not use Postiz with TikTok to scrape TikTok, bulk harvest TikTok data, remove or alter TikTok watermarks, modify TikTok metrics, manipulate engagement, spam TikTok, create deceptive activity, impersonate another person or TikTok, bypass TikTok rate limits or restrictions, evade TikTok review or enforcement, upload unlawful or harmful content, or take TikTok actions that the responsible user did not specifically choose and approve.
Users may not use Postiz to sell, rent, lease, disclose, transfer, or make TikTok Developer Services Data available to advertising networks, data brokers, unrelated third parties, or competitors of TikTok. Users may not use TikTok data accessed through Postiz for off-TikTok advertising targeting, cross-user profiling, audience resale, competitor benchmarking, unrelated research, or any purpose that TikTok has not authorized and the connected user has not requested.
Postiz is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok. A user who violates TikTok policies or these Terms through Postiz may have TikTok features limited, disconnected, or removed from their Postiz account.
Pinterest reviewer section. Authorized operators may use Postiz with Pinterest only for genuine, operator-directed content publishing, scheduling, publishing-status, and analytics workflows for Source Code Original owned or managed Pinterest accounts. The Pinterest integration is intended to let an authorized operator connect Pinterest through OAuth, choose a Pinterest account, choose a board, prepare Pin content, schedule Pins, publish Pins, view publishing status or analytics, and disconnect or reconnect Pinterest access.
Postiz requests Pinterest scopes only for those product features: user_accounts:read to identify and display the connected Pinterest account, boards:read to let the operator select a destination board, pins:write to create operator-approved Pins, and pins:read to support published-Pin lookup, publishing status, and analytics for Pins created or managed through Postiz.
Operators must specifically choose or approve each Pinterest action, including the Pinterest account, destination board, Pin content, media, title, description, link, timing, and publishing action. Operators may not use Postiz to automatically initiate Pinterest actions that the responsible operator has not reviewed and approved. Operators may not use Postiz to create fake, deceptive, spammy, abusive, infringing, unlawful, or unauthorized Pinterest activity.
Operators may not use Postiz to scrape Pinterest, use automated extraction outside approved Pinterest API access, collect Pinterest passwords or session cookies, evade Pinterest consent or enforcement systems, bypass Pinterest restrictions, require or incentivize Pinterest engagement, follow or unfollow accounts without specific operator choice, make comments or send messages without specific operator choice, modify Pinterest metrics, or misrepresent any relationship with Pinterest.
Operators may not use Postiz to sell, license, disclose, transfer, or make Pinterest API information available to advertising networks, data brokers, unrelated third parties, or unauthorized service providers. Operators may not use Pinterest account information from Postiz for off-Pinterest advertising targeting, cross-account profiling, cross-user benchmarking, competitor research, platform performance comparisons, audience-building services, or any separate Pinterest data product unless Pinterest has separately authorized that use in writing.
Postiz is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pinterest. Pinterest content, accounts, boards, Pins, analytics, and activity remain subject to Pinterest's Terms, Developer and API Terms, Developer Guidelines, Community Guidelines, and any other applicable Pinterest policies. An operator who violates Pinterest policies or these Terms through Postiz may have Pinterest features limited, disconnected, or removed from Postiz.
YouTube
YouTube reviewer section. Authorized operators may use Postiz with YouTube only for genuine, operator-directed YouTube channel connection, channel selection, video upload, scheduling, publishing-status, thumbnail, and analytics workflows for Source Code Original owned or managed YouTube channels. YouTube remains subject to the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, YouTube API Services Developer Policies, YouTube Community Guidelines, Google OAuth policies, and any other Google or YouTube rules that apply to the connected channel or uploaded content. By using YouTube features in Postiz, operators agree to comply with the YouTube Terms of Service.
Postiz requests Google and YouTube OAuth scopes only for those product features: userinfo.profile to identify and display the connected Google account, userinfo.email to support account identification and review/debug context, youtube.readonly to list and confirm the YouTube channels the operator can select and to read video/channel status needed for publishing and analytics, youtube.upload to upload operator-approved video files and thumbnails to the selected channel, and yt-analytics.readonly to display YouTube Analytics reports for the connected channel. Postiz does not use YouTube Partner content-owner or CMS workflows on this installation.
Operators must connect YouTube only through Google's OAuth authorization flow and may not provide Google or YouTube passwords, session cookies, or non-OAuth credentials to Postiz. Operators must own or have authority to manage each YouTube channel they connect, and they are responsible for the video files, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, made-for-kids selections, visibility settings, timing, and publishing actions they choose.
Operators must specifically choose or approve each YouTube action, including the destination channel, video file, title, description, tags, thumbnail, made-for-kids value, visibility value of public, private, or unlisted, scheduling time, and upload or publishing action. Postiz may suggest or preserve values in the publishing workflow, but operators retain final control over the data and content sent to YouTube.
Operators may not use Postiz with YouTube to scrape YouTube, bulk harvest YouTube data, download, import, backup, cache, or store copies of YouTube audiovisual content from YouTube, make YouTube content available for offline playback, bypass YouTube restrictions or access controls, manipulate YouTube engagement or metrics, spam YouTube, create deceptive activity, upload unlawful or infringing content, collect Google or YouTube passwords or session cookies, misrepresent any relationship with YouTube or Google, or take YouTube actions that the responsible operator did not specifically choose and approve.
Operators may not use Postiz to sell, rent, lease, disclose, transfer, or make Google or YouTube API data available to advertising networks, data brokers, unrelated third parties, or unauthorized service providers. Operators may not use YouTube API data accessed through Postiz for advertising targeting, custom audience creation, cross-account profiling, audience resale, competitor benchmarking, platform performance comparisons, unrelated research, or any separate YouTube data product.
Postiz is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube or Google. An operator who violates YouTube, Google, or these Terms through Postiz may have YouTube features limited, disconnected, or removed from Postiz.
Facebook reviewer section. Authorized operators may use Postiz with Facebook only for genuine, operator-directed Facebook Page connection, Page discovery, Page selection, publishing, scheduling, comment, publishing-status, and analytics workflows for Source Code Original owned or managed Pages. Facebook and Meta remain subject to Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, Facebook Community Standards, Page policies, App Review requirements, data handling requirements, and any other Meta rules that apply to the connected Page or content.
Postiz requests Facebook permissions only for those product features: pages_show_list to list Pages the operator can select, business_management to discover Pages owned by or shared with the connected business portfolio, pages_manage_posts to publish operator-approved Page posts, photos, videos, Reels, and links, pages_manage_engagement to add operator-approved comments or replies where Postiz comment workflows are used, pages_read_engagement to read Page context, Page post information, and engagement information needed for status and analytics, and read_insights to retrieve Page and post insights shown inside Postiz.
Operators must connect Facebook only through Meta OAuth/Facebook Login and may not provide Facebook passwords, session cookies, or non-OAuth credentials to Postiz. Operators must own or have authority to manage each Facebook Page they connect, and they are responsible for the content, media, links, comments, timing, destination Page, and publishing actions they choose.
Operators may not use Postiz with Facebook to scrape Facebook, bulk harvest Meta data, bypass Meta access controls, evade Meta review or enforcement, manipulate engagement, spam Facebook, create deceptive or abusive activity, publish unlawful or infringing content, collect Facebook passwords or session cookies, misrepresent any relationship with Facebook or Meta, or take Facebook actions that the responsible operator did not specifically choose and approve.
Operators may not use Postiz to sell, rent, lease, disclose, transfer, or make Meta data available to advertising networks, data brokers, unrelated third parties, or unauthorized service providers. Operators may not use Meta data accessed through Postiz for advertising targeting, custom audience creation, cross-account profiling, audience resale, competitor benchmarking, platform performance comparisons, unrelated research, or any separate Meta data product.
Postiz is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Facebook or Meta. An operator who violates Meta policies or these Terms through Postiz may have Facebook features limited, disconnected, or removed from Postiz.
Instagram reviewer section. Authorized operators may use Postiz with Instagram only for genuine, operator-directed Instagram Business or professional-account connection, connected-account discovery, publishing, scheduling, comment, publishing-status, and analytics workflows for Source Code Original owned or managed Instagram accounts. Instagram and Meta remain subject to Meta's Platform Terms, Instagram Platform rules, Instagram Community Guidelines, App Review requirements, data handling requirements, and any other Meta or Instagram rules that apply to the connected account or content.
For Instagram through Facebook Login, Postiz requests instagram_basic to identify and display the Instagram Business account, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, and business_management to discover Facebook Pages and their connected Instagram Business accounts, instagram_content_publish to publish operator-approved Instagram media, Reels, Stories, and carousels, instagram_manage_comments to add operator-approved comments or replies, and instagram_manage_insights to retrieve account and media insights shown inside Postiz.
For Instagram Standalone, if enabled, Postiz requests instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_content_publish, instagram_business_manage_comments, and instagram_business_manage_insights only for account display, publishing, comment, and analytics workflows. Operators must connect only Instagram accounts they own or are authorized to manage.
Operators must specifically choose or approve each Instagram action, including the account, media, caption, collaborators, story/reel/carousel settings, timing, comments, and publishing action. Operators may not use Postiz to automatically initiate Instagram actions that the responsible operator has not reviewed and approved.
Operators may not use Postiz with Instagram to scrape Instagram, bulk harvest Instagram data, bypass Meta or Instagram access controls, evade Meta review or enforcement, manipulate engagement, spam Instagram, create deceptive or abusive activity, publish unlawful or infringing content, collect Instagram passwords or session cookies, misrepresent any relationship with Instagram or Meta, or take Instagram actions that the responsible operator did not specifically choose and approve.
Operators may not use Postiz to sell, rent, lease, disclose, transfer, or make Instagram or Meta data available to advertising networks, data brokers, unrelated third parties, or unauthorized service providers. Operators may not use Instagram or Meta data accessed through Postiz for advertising targeting, custom audience creation, cross-account profiling, audience resale, competitor benchmarking, platform performance comparisons, unrelated research, or any separate Instagram or Meta data product.
Postiz is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram or Meta. An operator who violates Instagram, Meta, or these Terms through Postiz may have Instagram features limited, disconnected, or removed from Postiz.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Postiz for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, spammy, or unauthorized activity, including activity that violates the policies of connected platforms. You are responsible for ensuring that your content, timing, destinations, links, and publishing activity comply with the rules of each connected platform.
Availability
Postiz may change, be updated, or be interrupted from time to time. No uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining control of your Postiz account, connected integrations, and published content.
